Every little girl dreams and wishes of becoming Cinderella- escaping the harsh realities of life with an evil step mother with the help of their very own Fairy Godmother, meeting a Prince and then living happily ever after. Dance Exploration, LLC allows little girls, with dreams of becoming a princess, the opportunity to life like Cinderella for a day…actually five days with our Fairy Tale Princess Dance Camps.
Each year Dance Exploration, LLC hosts Fairy Tale Princess Dance Camps as Summer Camp opportunities for children at locations around the Denver and Colorado metro areas! Over the past six years, we’ve developed a handful of fun games that kids can play to interactively learn and explore each of their favorite princesses! Designed as a story board to take the dancers on an adventure exploring the plot, characters, conflicts and resolutions that each princess must go through. We’ve created a fun and magical summer camp experience that every little princess can enjoy! Here’s a small peek into Cinderella games that are great for Birthday Parties too!
Decorating Cinderella’s Dress for the Ball
Our Fairy Tale Princess Dance Camps would not be complete without Cinderella’s little army of mice who heave ho all day long to ensure that Cinderella gets her chores done and can make it to the ball! Our little Princesses get to experience life as a mouse and attach fun fabric: bows, beads, ribbons, and lace to Cinderella’s plain ball gown. The options for decorating the dress are endless and the fabric pieces are easily removed so the game can be played again! How many different ways can we decorate Cinderella’s dress?
Cinderella’s Suds
We all know that, although the mice tried so hard, Cinderella’s evil stepmother did not allow her to go to the ball. Instead she was told to clean the chateau until they returned. Cinderella, was sad of course, but she always has a way to see the good side of everything- even cleaning. The next game we play at Fairy Tale Princess Dance Camps is Cinderella’s Suds. The dance floor is covered with balloons. As the music plays, they dance but when the music stops their instructor shouts “Bubbles!” and they all dance with their bubbles until the music plays again.
Bibbity Bobbity Boo Game
All our Princesses receive a Magic Wind, Tiara, and Fairy Wings as part of the Essential Princess Necessities kit. After all our princesses receive their necessities kit we get ready to play Bibbity Bobbity Boo! Each dancer gets a chance to be the Fairy Godmother. With a wave of her magic wand she can turn her fellow dancers into anything: a princess, a horse, a bird, or a frog…as long as she says Bibbity Bobbity Boo, the options are endless.
The Hunt for the Glass Slipper
Our Fairy Godmother visits the dance studio the day before Camp begins and leaves her Fairy Godmother clues around the dance studio to help the dancers find Cinderella’s missing glass slipper. Clues like: ‘The Tea Party table hides your next clue, skip to the table to find it.’ When the dancers complete all the proper dance moves to find the glass slipper, they find the slipper safe and sound. The game wouldn’t be complete without each princess getting to check if the glass slippers are a perfect fit.
